The unique 360 balance challenge of our patent-pending design is optimized to simulate the balance required in boardsports, including surfing, stand up paddleboarding, foiling, skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, windsurfing and kitesurfing and any sport that benefits from good balance skills. It's also great for physical therapy to strengthen muscles, joints, mobility work, and recovery after injury as the balance difficulty can be increased gradually.
Why you should train your balance daily:
The Balance Surfer is very strong and we don't set a weight limit. If weight capacity and strength is a concern, please watch this video:
When we were developing the Balance Surfer, we looked at reviews of other available balance boards and addressed all the issues with our design and construction, we feel the Balance Surfer is the most versatile and best balance board available today. The most common complaints about other balance boards available are:
Too narrow- many balance boards are too small to have a shoulder-width stance. The Balance Surfer deck is 26" wide and has curved up ends like a skateboard which allows for a wide stance and excellent control for tricks and advanced balance training.
Too slippery- our board has super grippy skate deck and soft EVA deck options
Too easy or too hard- most boards only have one balance mode which quickly becomes too easy while others are impossible to balance on, that's why we made the Balance Surfer with tool-less balance challenge adjustability that you can adjust for different uses as your balance improves.
Too dangerous- let's face it, boards with rollers can be very dangerous as they can shoot out from underneath you. The Balance Surfer stops when you touch down on either side, making the design much safer.
No rotation- Many balance boards only offer side to side balance without rotation. The Balance Surfer challenges your balance side to side and front to back and allows for rotation and tricks.
