What makes the Alien Wing unique is the stiff, compact airframe, high canopy tension, well balanced handles and layout, all of which allow for predictable handling, easy transitions and luffing, easy starts and acceleration, lofty jumps and smooth sailing for freeriders at all levels.  

The Alien Wing has a very light, smooth, powerful feel.  This is a result of to the thicker, rigid airframe and resulting canopy tension/ profile which also adds a bit of weight.  We found this rigidity more than makes up for the weight savings of a thinner/ more flexible leading edge.  So the Alien Wings are very light but not the lightest wings available.  These are the weights of our production wings: 3M: 4.6 lbs, 4M: 5.4 lbs, 5M: 6.2 lbs, 6M: 7.1 lbs, 7M: 8.1 lbs
