About the Gore Vent Plug
This replacement screw-in vent plug features a built-in two-way Gore vent membrane that automatically lets air in and out, protecting your board from pressure changes caused by rapid heating, cooling, or altitude changes during air travel. It keeps water from entering the board while maintaining homeostasis.
If your current vent plug has a torn membrane or is plugged with salt deposits, it needs to be replaced. Compatible with most board brands using this type of gore vent plug — please check the photo with the height measurement and compare to the plug you are replacing before ordering.
Note: These vent plugs are made for Blue Planet boards. Blue Planet Surf is not responsible for incompatibility with non-Blue Planet boards.
