Unlike traditional leashes the retractable design ensures the cord won't drag in the water or get in your way, offering maximum performance and comfort. In our experience it’s the best leash option for foiling disciplines, hands down. The retracting leash plus shock cord extension will provide you with a safe distance (total of 14 feet with long shock cord) from your board in a wipeout. This also separates the board from the wing in a fall and can prevent expensive wing damage.  The leash stays taught as you recover the board, preventing it from getting tangled with the foil or with the wing leash.

We have upgraded the retracting leash with some improved features:

• Smaller & Lighter than the original Oceanus Reel leash
• Comfortable fit and with the custom padded waist belt or cuff
• Separate wash hole makes it easier to flush out salt water
• Built to withstand saltwater and harsh environments
• 14' Extension keeps board at a safe distance (with long shock cord)
• Oiling port to keep stainless steel coil operating smoothly
• Stronger stainless steel spring coil has more tension and can be replaced

Kits come standard with full tension spring but we can make kits with lower tension reel upon request

Calf Cuff Kit: Includes retracting leash, cuff, and short shock cord. This new option is compact, lightweight, and out of the way. Perfect for pulling your drifting board back when you're in a tight spot.
