- Extra long handle shaft can be adjusted without cutting by using hot glue and heat gun to extend or shorten as needed. You should have at least 3" of the handle inserted into the shaft, giving you an adjustment range of 3" (using a heat gun, without cutting the shaft, length can not be adjusted while paddling)
