The Big Fish Bone is the biggest board in the Fish Bone series coming in at 10'6 x 36 x 5 @ 245L. Its high volume is suitable for bigger riders or for lighter paddlers who want a stable platform for cruising, SUP Yoga or paddling with a passenger or pet. The Big Fish Bone can comfortably accommodate up to 320 lbs. This board has serious glide yet is still nimble for its size in the surf. The 36" width combined with higher volume rails make this a very forgiving board. The rocker line and bottom shape are optimized for all-around use, providing maximum versatility in surf, chop and flat water conditions. The deck is flat in the standing area for a solid, comfortable stance.

Construction

SMART Carbon/Epoxy (Sandwich Molded Active Response Technology) uses a proprietary layup to achieve strength, rigidity and a responsive, snappy flex at very light weight. The lightweight EPS core is fully wrapped with high density PVC foam that is sandwiched between two layers of carbon fiber (fiberglass if epoxy construction) before being saturated in epoxy resin.

This results in a very strong, durable board that is exceptionally light. The carbon has an even greater strength to weight ratio. High quality deck pad with comfortable yet very grippy traction in the standing areas.
