Blue Planet 9'11 x 34 x 4.4 x 190L Fish Bone

The Fish Bone comes in at 9'11 x 34 x 4.4 @ 190L. It is a stable and user friendly model that is a staple in our lineup. It can take whatever you throw at it, whether it is in the surf or just cruising around. Despite its relative high volume, the team has pushed this board into proper surf and it has proved more than capable in small to overhead conditions. Accommodates surfers up to 250 lbs easily, if you are looking for something bigger consider our Big Fish Bone model, which keeps the same characteristics just sized up. The 34" width combined with a higher volume rail make this a very stable board with great glide. The rocker line and bottom shape are optimized for all-around use, providing maximum versatility in surf, chop and flat water conditions.  The deck is flat in the standing area for a solid, comfortable stance.

Construction: SMART Carbon/Epoxy (Sandwich Molded Active Response Technology) uses a proprietary layup to achieve strength, rigidity and a responsive, snappy flex at very light weight.  The lightweight EPS core is fully wrapped with high density PVC foam that is sandwiched between two layers of carbon fiber (fiberglass if epoxy construction) before being saturated in epoxy resin. This results in a very strong durable board that is exceptionally light. The carbon has an even greater strength to weight ratio. High quality deck pad with comfortable yet very grippy yet traction in the standing areas.
