Shipping information:

All orders shipped to addresses with U.S. Zip codes (including APO Military addresses) are charged at a flat rate of only $6.

Orders are shipped by US Priority Mail with delivery confirmation (2-5 days transit time).

Note: The $6 flat rate shipping via Priority Mail includes delivery confirmation only. Tracking is not available, it only shows when and where the package is delivered (no signature). Once package is delivered by post office, it becomes the responsibility of the receiver. If your mail is delivered to a unsafe location or if you require tracking, insurance, or a signature, please choose the UPS 2nd day air shipping option.

Orders are shipped in one to three business days, unless they are out of stock. If any items you order are not in stock, Blue Planet will contact you by phone or e-mail with and expected ship date and/or substitution suggestions. You then have the option to wait until the item is back in stock, choose a substitute, or cancel your order.

Orders are shipped with a free sticker and are protected by a cool Blue Planet logo bag and Priority Mail packaging.

Other shipping options:

If you have a UPS, FedEx, or other shipping account, shipping charges can be billed to your account on request.

International orders:

We can ship to most postal addresses in the world.

Charges are $15 for the first item, plus $5 for each additional item.
Orders are shipped by Global Priority mail (3-5 day service, available to most countries). Some countries may charge custom charges. The receiver is responsible for any such charges.

Exchanges:

New and unused goods can be exchanged for 90 days from date of purchase, no receipt necessary.

We allow exchanges of Blue Planet clothing purchased at any authorized dealer (exchanges are charged $6 for shipping - accepted: credit card information, check, money order, cash, stamps, or enclose a self addressed, stamped envelope).

Exchanges must be in "as new" condition.

If any labels are missing (including outside size label on shorts), a $2 re-label fee may be charged.

Returns:

All items may be returned for full credit for any reason within 30 days of receipt of goods

Shipping charges are non-refundable (exceptions: wrong product shipped or defective products).

Sales receipt must accompany returns. Send to address as above.

Refunds are credited to the credit card used for purchase or by check on request.

Gift Certificates:

Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount through the shopping cart and sent by e-mail to the recipient. You can also request the gift certificate to be mailed to the recipient. The e-mail includes a code and your message that can be redeemed on the website shopping cart or at our retail locations. To redeem the gift certificate in the shopping cart, simply choose gift certificate as payment method and enter the code at checkout. To redeem it at our retail stores, please bring a print out of the e-mail to the shop. We will issue a store credit that can be used to purchase anything in the store. If you don't want to use the full amount of the gift certificate, we will issue a gift card for the full amount or remaining credit balance.

Pricing information:

The prices at our authorized dealers might be slightly higher or lower than the prices offered on our website, due to shipping costs and different markup strategy.

If there is a dealer close by, we recommend buying your clothing there, please check our dealer listing for a shop near you.

Nothing beats trying on clothing, feeling the fabric and seeing the colors on you. Your local Blue Planet dealer can also special order items for you if they do not carry an item you saw on this site and provide other services that our website can't.

This site is designed for those who do not have access to a Blue Planet dealer and is not intended to compete with our network of dealers. If you are not sure what size you need, take advantage of the flat rate shipping and order to sizes, then just return the size that does not fit, see return/exchange policy as above.

Surfboard Shipping:

Surfboards and Electric Skateboards are currently available to U.S. customers and international shipping available on request. Our surfboard prices do not include shipping charges but we can ship at very reasonable rates to the nearest airport serviced by one of our air cargo providers:

1. United Air Cargo
2. Delta Air Cargo
3. Aloha Air Cargo

You can pay the shipping charges at the time you pick up the board, shipping charges vary by size of board and airport and are usually between $50 and $200 (small short board vs. SUP)

We carefully package surf boards with bubble wrap, cardboard padding on rails and bottom, extra nose and tail padding all inside a sturdy cardboard box, see picture.

Boards are insured so any damages from shipping are fully covered. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, the shipping expense is non refundable in case of return. Boards are shipped on a space available basis and usually arrive the next day or within a week at most.

You can either pick up the board at the airport cargo office or arrange delivery at your own expense.

We offer discounts on shipments of two or more boards, please call for pricing.

Boardworks uses thermal compression molds to make epoxy sandwich construction surfboards designed by some of the world's best shapers. Basically these boards are very strong and about the same weight as a light polyester board. Blue Planet is the Hawaii distributor for Boardworks. Try before you buy: Blue Planet Surf Shop in Honolulu has a big selection of these boards and many of the models available as rental boards. The shop refunds up to $200 in rental fees if a new board is purchased. You can also choose to rent a brand new board off the rack and after two weeks decide if you want to buy it or return it (2 week minimum rental required if new board is not purchased).
